Lou Frey, Jr. Joins The Source for Learning Board

RESTON, VA – U.S. Congressman Lou Frey, Jr. (FL, ’69-’79) has joined the Board of Directors of The Source for Learning. Frey represented East and Central Florida. He has remained active in public service as an author, educator, and advocate for the understanding of representative democracy, especially among young people. He is a partner in the law firm of Lowndes, Drosdick, Doster, Kantor & Reed in Orlando, Florida.

Pursuing his career-long interest in the advancement of good government, Congressman Frey founded the Lou Frey Institute of Politics and Government (www.LouFrey.org) at the University of Central Florida. The Institute promotes the development of enlightened, responsible, and actively engaged citizens through civic education programs for secondary and college students, such as its popular and influential semi-annual symposia.

The Source for Learning (SFL; www.sourceforlearning.org) is a not-for-profit company that creates technology-based content for the parents and teachers of preschool and K-12 children. SFL’s programs include www.TeachersFirst.com, www.PreschoolFirst.com, www.TeachersAndFamilies.com, and a new service for the parents of young children, www.GrowUpLearning.com. Compiled and reviewed by education professionals, the resources provided by SFL enhance learning at every level.
