Mary Braxton has devoted over 28 years to the field of early childhood education as a professional working with children. She is an advocate for children and families. She currently works for a local nonprofit resource and referral agency, providing technical assistance services to early childhood programs. Mary continues to serve on various local and state early childhood boards, including Virginia Association for the Education of Young Children (VAAEYC) and Southern Early Childhood Association (SECA). She also provides training at national and multi-state conferences.
